FUELLING FULHAM - KINETICA SPORTS MATCH DAY TAKEOVER

There’s nothing quite like a Premier League matchday at Fulham FC’s iconic Craven Cottage, and last month, WeAreNinety brought that energy to life with a high-impact takeover alongside Kinetica Sports.
Designed to drive awareness and engagement, the activation transformed the match day experience into a fully immersive brand moment, connecting with fans from the moment they arrived.

Strategy: Fuelling Fulham
Kinetica Sports is the official fuel behind Fulham fans and players on matchday. Every element of the takeover reinforces the idea that Kinetica Sports powers energy, engagement, and excitement, both on the pitch and in the fan experience. Fans don’t just watch the match; they feel the energy, taste the fuel, and become part of the action.
Driving Brand Awareness on Match day
We wanted Kinetica Sports shakes in the hands of as many fans as possible, and just as importantly, we wanted as many eyeballs on the brand as we could get. From handing out thousands of shakes to fans on their way into the stadium, to dominating the pitchside with a giant Kinetica Sports inflatable, the day was all about scale, visibility, and fun interaction.

Protein Shake Sampling
Before the game even kicked off, over 2,500 Kinetica Sports shakes were given out to fans. This wasn’t just a numbers game, it was about creating a direct touchpoint with supporters, letting them experience the product first-hand. The sheer scale of the distribution meant the brand was seen, tasted, and talked about across the stadium.

Beat the Bar Challenge
Once fans were warmed up and fuelled correctly, it was time to get competitive. The Beat the Bar Challenge, hosted by Fulham presenter John Charles, invited supporters hang from a pull-up bar, testing grip strength and endurance. With a signed Fulham FC shirt as the prize, participation was high and it naturally drew a crowd, creating a lively, social space around the activation.

The “No Whey” Half-Time Activation
At half-time, the focus shifted to the pitch for the “No Whey” Challenge. Selected fans attempted to hit a ball into the giant protein tub inflatable, creating chaotic, high-energy moments that entertained the stadium crowd.
During the Beat the Bar Challenge, we surprised & delighted one lucky contestant and invited her to take part. She managed to kick the ball straight into the giant protein tub, winning a year’s supply of Kinetica Sports products and creating an unforgettable moment for herself and the fans around her.
Both activations combined fun, unpredictability, and visually striking content, producing shareable moments that amplified Kinetica Sports presence far beyond the stands.

Creator Amplification
We invited Football and Fulham creator John Charles to host the The Beat the Bar Challenge and demonstrated to the Fulham fans the mechanics of the "No Whey" Half Time Challenge. Partnering with a creator who genuinely supports the club ensures drives c with the fanbase and effectively reaches a football-centric audience.
